EPI Program:
নাম Program Name: Extended Immunization Program
বাস্তব Implementer of the program: Upazila Health and P. W. Officer and all health workers under him.
· Financing and other contributors: health and p. A. Ministry, World Health Organization.
· Goals and methods: Immunization of children against 06 diseases and prevention of night blindness and malnutrition through vitamin ‘A’ capsules. Maternal and neonatal tetanus prevention through TT. The main goal is to reduce child suffering and mortality.
সুবিধা Beneficiary population covered: All women aged 15-49 years and all children aged 0-60 months.
EOC Program:
নাম Program Name: Maternity Services.
বাস্তব Implementer of the program: Upazila Health and P. W. Officers and doctors and nurses of hospitals including E&C.
· Financing and other contributors: health and p. A. Ministry, UNICEF.
· Goals and Procedures: Safe motherhood, risk-free delivery and reduction of infant and maternal mortality rates.
সুবিধা Beneficiary groups covered: All pregnant mothers.
ARI Program:
নাম Program Name: ARI.
বাস্তব Program Implementer: Supervisor / Upazila Health & P. W. All doctors, medical assistants, pharmacists, nurses of the organization including officers.
· Financing and other contributors: health and p. A. Ministry, UNICEF.
· The goal is to treat and reduce the incidence of pneumonia and bronchitis in children.
সুবিধা Beneficiary population covered: All children.
B. The service recipient reserves the right to receive all services:
1. Necessary health services are provided to the women, men, old and young children coming to the health sub-center.
2. ORS is provided for diarrhea patients.
3. Maternity patients arriving at the hospital were given necessary advice including antenatal checkups and iron tablets were provided.
4. Under the National Tuberculosis and Leprosy Control Program, phlegm is collected for sputum testing of tuberculosis patients and free medicine is provided to tuberculosis and leprosy patients.
5. Children and women are vaccinated under the EPI program.
. Health, nutrition and reproductive health education is given to the patients coming to the sub-health center.
. Reproductive health and family planning activities are conducted among adolescents and able-bodied couples who come to the sub-health center.
. If necessary, the patient is referred to the Upazila Hospital.
9. Incoming patients and their relatives can easily contact the concerned doctors for necessary advice and counseling about healthcare.
10. Necessary number of notice boards are placed in the sub-health center in a visible place. Necessary information is recorded in the notice board.
11. Subject to supply, medicines are provided free of cost from the service center. However, in case of need of treatment, the service recipient may have to purchase from outside the pharmacy.
12. List of medicines in stock on the board, list of services provided, list of physicians providing services
